DK Foundation은 텍사스 한인사회의 미래를 이끌어 갈 차세대 리더를 발굴하고 지원하기 위해 2026 Change Makers Youth Leadership Scholarship (청소년 리더십 장학 프로그램) 장학생을 모집합니다.
본 프로그램은 단순한 장학금 지원을 넘어, 지역사회 봉사와 리더십 활동을 통해 공동체를 섬기는 차세대 리더를 양성하는 것을 목표로 합니다.
장학금 개요
- 선발 인원: 5명
- 장학금: 각 $1,000
- 최종 발표: 2026년 4월 20일
- 장학금 수여식: 2026년 11월
지원 자격
다음 조건을 충족하는 학생
- DFW 지역 거주 청소년
- 8학년 ~ 11학년 재학생
- 다음 행사에 참여 가능한 학생
- 5월 30일 효도잔치 (어르신 초청 행사)
- 9월 건강 박람회
- 11월 장학금 수여식
프로그램 특징
본 장학 프로그램은 단순한 재정 지원을 넘어 실제 커뮤니티 리더십 활동을 포함하는 프로그램입니다.
선발된 장학생들은 다음 행사에서 봉사 리더로 활동하게 됩니다.
- 5월 효도잔치 (어르신 초청 행사)
- 9월 건강 박람회
장학생들은 팀을 구성하고 봉사자를 모집하여 행사 운영에 직접 참여하며, 이를 통해 공동체 리더십을 실천하게 됩니다.
장학생 혜택
- 모든 봉사 활동 Certificate 발급
- 대학 지원 시 활용 가능한 Awards / Leadership 활동 기록

DK Foundation Youth Leadership Scholarship Program
DK Foundation is pleased to announce the 2026 Change Makers Youth Leadership Scholarship, designed to support and develop the next generation of leaders within the Korean-American community in Texas.
This program goes beyond financial support by encouraging students to actively engage in community service and leadership activities.
Scholarship Overview
- Number of Recipients: 5 students
- Scholarship Amount: $1,000 per recipient
- Final Announcement: April 20, 2026
- Scholarship Award Ceremony: November 2026
Eligibility
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Residents of the DFW (Dallas–Fort Worth) area
- Students currently in 8th through 11th grade
- Must be available to participate in the following community events:
- May 30 – Senior Appreciation Event
- September – Community Health Fair
- November – Scholarship Award Ceremony
Program Features
This scholarship program is designed to promote community leadership and volunteer engagement.
Selected scholarship recipients will serve as volunteer leaders for community events organized by DK Foundation.
Events include:
- Senior Appreciation Event (May)
- Community Health Fair (September)
Recipients will organize volunteer teams, support event operations, and demonstrate leadership through community service.
