The DK Foundation’s “The Sharing” campaign serves as a vital link within the Texas community, fostering connections between those seeking assistance and those capable of offering it. On December 23 of the previous year, through a special 8-hour live broadcast on AM730 DKnet radio, the foundation successfully raised over $16,000 for disadvantaged individuals in overlooked areas of the community. Throughout 2023, the DK Foundation has actively distributed donations to the needy as a part of “The Sharing” initiative. It has also provided medical services to Korean Americans facing financial barriers to hospital visits, organized concerts, offered free counseling, and more, all aimed at community recovery. Additionally, the foundation has awarded scholarships to disabled individuals and organized a Silver Festival for the elderly.
