[커뮤니티 리더십 프로젝트 플랜]
DK 파운데이션의 커뮤니티를 위한 봉사활동과 이벤트에서 하나를 택해서 이에 대한 홍보 계획, 자원봉사자 모집 방법, 자원봉사자들을 조직해 리더가 되어 봉사할 계획을 기획한다.
*홍보 방법: 특정하지 않음. DK 미디어 플랫폼; 라디오, 신문, 매거진, DKNET 유튜브 등 사용 가능
DK 파운데이션 커뮤니티 봉사활동 및 이벤트
- 독거노인 돕기: 형편이 어려운 독거 노인들이 DK 파운데이션의 재정 도움에 대해 알고 지원 신청을 할 수 있도록 홍보, 독거 노인을 도울 수 있는 다양한 봉사 활동 제시 및 자원봉사자 활동 계획
- 효도잔치: 효도잔치에 시니어가 참여할 수 있도록 홍보. 효도잔치 장소의 사전 셋팅 및 안내 등에 필요한 자원봉사자 모집및 활동에 대한 계획
- 장애인 돕기: 장애인 학생에게 지급하는 DK 파운데이션의 장학금을 홍보하고 많은 장애인 학생들이 장학금 신청을 할 수 있도록 홍보, 장애인을 도울 수 있는 다양한 봉사활동 제시 및 봉사자 활동 계획
- 사랑나눔토크 콘서트: 따뜻한 스토리와 노래로 회복을 주는 사랑나눔토크 콘서트에 참석을 독려하는 홍보. 콘서트 준비 및 안내 등에 필요한 자원봉사자 모집과 활동에 대한 계획
- 건강박람회: 한인동포 사회에 저렴한 비용으로 각종 건강검진을 받고 다양한 건강 교육을 받을 수 있는 건강박람회에 참여를 독려하는 홍보를 계획하고 건강박람회장 내 자리셋팅 및 안내 등에 필요한 자원봉사자 활동 계획
지원 방법: dkfoundationtx.org에서 지원서를 다운받고 추가 제출 서류와 함께 이메일 혹은 우편으로 접수.
장학생 선정 및 발표: 4월 1일 5명 선정 발표
선정된 청소년 장학생은 DK 파운데이션의 다양한 커뮤니티 이벤트나 봉사활동에 참여해 본인의 기획대로 실행하고 11월 ‘더 키움’ 장학금 수여식에서 커뮤니티 Youth (청소년) 리더십 장학금 각 1000달러를 수여한다.

Project Plan Requirements:
Applicants are required to choose from one community service activity or event organized by DK foundation (listed below) and develop a comprehensive plan. The plan should include promotional strategies, volunteer recruitment plan, and approaches for organizing, training and supporting volunteers.
*For an effective promotion of the events, applicants may use DK Media platforms such as radio, newspapers, magazines, and DKNET YouTube.
DK Foundation Community Service Activities and Events:
- Caring for Seniors Living Alone:
- Promote awareness of DK Foundation’s financial assistance program for seniors in need and encourage applications.
- Propose various volunteer activities to support seniors and outline plans for utilizing volunteers effectively.
- Celebrating Seniors Appreciation Banquet :
- Promote participation in the Appreciation Banquet for seniors.
- Plan volunteer involvement for setting up the venue and providing guidance during the event.
- Empowering Individuals with Disabilities:
- Promote DK Foundation’s scholarships for students with disabilities to encourage applications.
- Propose volunteer activities to assist individuals with disabilities and develop strategies for organizing volunteers.
- Sharing Love Talk Concert:
- Promote attendance at the Sharing Love Talk Concert, which delivers healing through touching stories and music.
- Plan the involvement of volunteers for concert preparation, setup, and assistance during the event.
- Community Health Fair:
- Promote participation in the Health Fair, where Korean Americans can receive affordable health screenings and health education.
- Develop plans for volunteer involvement in setting up booths and providing guidance at the event.

Scholarship Selection and Announcement:
- Five recipients will be selected and announced on April 1.
- Selected scholarship recipients will implement their proposed projects through DK Foundation’s community events and volunteer programs.
- Each recipient will receive a $1,000 Community Leadership Scholarship during the ‘The 키움’ Scholarship Award Ceremony in November.
Scholarship Benefits:
- Certificates issued for all volunteer activities.
- Access to DK Foundation’s ‘The Kium’ Fellowship Mentoring Program.
